The Detroit Pistons have waived Center DeAndre Jordan making Jordan an unrestricted free agent.
Jordan was acquired tonight by the Pistons from Brooklyn Nets along with four second-round picks in exchange for Sekou Doumbouya and Jahlil Okafor.
Few hours after, Jordan and the Pistons have agreed to a contract buyout.

The 2017 NBA All-Star is expected to sign a one-year, $2.6 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers after clearing waivers. The Lakers were reportedly looking to get another center after reports of Marc Gasol not being locked to come back with the team for the upcoming season.

Jordan spent the last two seasons with the Nets. He played a total of 113 regular season games with the team averaging close to 8 points and 9 boards per game.
