Kevin Durant recently revealed on Draymond Green’s latest podcast the player that got him one time on his game. Durant said that the former Indiana Pacers guard Joe Young once threw his game off.
“Joe Young played for Indiana. He got me one game. He talked so much s**t. I had a s****y game because I was focused on him. If I see him again, I’m on his a**.”
KD was still with the Golden State Warriors that time. The Warriors played the Pacers on road and they were defeated by the host team by 20 points, 126-206. Durant had a poor performance making only eight of his twenty-three field goal attempts.
He revealed that he had a ‘sh*tty game’ because of Joe Young’s trash talks on him.
Joe Young was drafted by Indiana Pacers in 2015 as the 45th overall pick. The 6’2 guard only played three years with the team and averaged three points, one rebound and one assist in 127 games he played.
Unfortunately for Durant, Young wasn’t in the league anymore. Young is now playing for the Beijing Royal Fighters in CBA. He scored 74 points in one game which is the third highest in the history of the Chinese premiere league.
The 29-year-old guard even had the guts to reply on NBA Buzz post on INstagram.
“Haha soon we will reunite!!” 🙌🙌
He also greeted Durant a happy birthday on his Instagram account. Durant turned 33 years old yesterday.
Let’s see if Joe Young can make an NBA comeback so that KD can finally get his revenge on the former Pacer’s guard.
