LeBron James Reacts To Lou Williams’ Epic Throwback Photo

Atlanta Hawks’ guard Lou Williams recently shared a great story posting a picture with LeBron James while wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey during his rookie season.

“Aye @kingjames, my moms got some timeless pics in her archive. Lol. Your rookie year. Me going into my senior year in high school. I had got hit with a baseball bat (accidentally) the week before that so my eye was black. Same scar I got now,” Williams captioned the post.

Lebron quickly noticed and reacted to Williams’ post.

“YO!!!! This is insane. Been my G for quite awhile now,” The King wrote in the comments section.

The photo was taken during LeBron’s rookie year and Lou Williams senior year in high school. Williams went straight to NBA from high school. He committed to play for the University of Georgia ended up declaring for the 2005 NBA draft.

Williams finished his career as the second all-time leading scorer in Georgia high school basketball history.

He was picked 45th overall in the 2005 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers and played behind Sixers’ legend Allen Iverson during the early years of his career.

Williams became the biggest contributor off the bench for every team he played with, winning three ‘Sixth Man of the Year’ award.

LeBron was on his third year during Williams’ rookie year and has won four NBA MVPs as of today. The two never got play with each other but Williams, as per LeBron, has always been his guy.

It’s been 20 years since the photo was taken and the two has been successful with their NBA careers so far. Though, Lou Williams has yet to win an NBA ring for himself.
