Magic Johnson recently claimed on Twitter that the current Los Angeles Lakers are the smartest team in the NBA.

Johnson has a point on his take with the current Lakers squad, the team composing mostly of veterans which has a lot of experience will help them win games. The Lakers have the oldest roster in the league with nine players having age of 32 years and above.
The Lakers have players like LeBron James and Rajon Rondo whose basketball IQ’s are very high and will lead the team in assists department, not to mention that Russell Westbrook can also put double digit assists on every single night.
Carmelo Anthony and Kent Bazemore can provide the scoring off the bench and will help the Lakers with their post-season run. Anthony is the oldest player in the team and has been in the playoffs thirteen times.
On the defensive end, the team have Trevor Ariza, Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard to lead the team. Howard and Ariza will be on their 18th NBA season while Davis will play his 10th NBA season this year.
Let’s see if Lakers’ experience will help them win games and bring home the Larry O’Brien trophy this year.
