Vince Carter was one of the the most exciting NBA players to watch during the early 2000’s. Aside from his high-flying dunks, Carter was known for his scoring and his all-around game during his Toronto Raptors and New Jersey Nets days
The 8x NBA All-Star has been a member of All-NBA team twice on his 22-year NBA career.
In an episode of the ESPN’s ‘The Jump’, Matt Barnes, Richard Jefferson and Brian Windhorst discussed if Vince Carter is one of the most talented player ever.
According to Richard Jefferson, Vince is the most talented player he’s ever witnessed in his lifetime.
“I have never seen anything like Vince Carter,” said Jefferson. “I was fortunate enough to play with LeBron. But there was nothing that I have ever seen this man not be able to do. Left-hand finishes, left-hand dunks, 360 layups, handle it like a point guard. … To me, he is the most talented player I have ever seen in my life.”
Richard Jefferson wasn’t wrong on his take about Vince Carter. Carter can dunk, he can drive and handle the ball, he can shoot, rebound and even pass the ball. He can do it all inside the court.
Carter is definitely one of the most talented players in NBA history. He won’t be called ‘Half man, half amazing’ if he is just an average player. It was just sad to see that Carter didn’t win a ring during his NBA career.
