NBA legend Vince Carter has recently spoken on who should be viewed as the No. 1 player on ESPN’s NBA rank. The high-flying Carter said that either LeBron James or Kevin Durant should be ESPN’s no. 1 rank but also added that KD is ready to take over the league.
“You could go KD. You could go LeBron. I’ve watched KD and what he did at the Olympics. Right now, he is ready to take over the league.”
Durant’s performance at Tokyo Olympics made Vince Carter realized that he is ready to be the face of the league. KD received 5 out of 10 votes from league executives and general managers for the best player in the league right now, tied with Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The 2015 NBA MVP had an amazing performance during the 2021 NBA playoffs, taking over the game and dropping 48 and 49 points in game 5 and game 7, respectively, of Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Bucks.
Do you think KD is the best player in the league right now?
