The Los Angeles Lakers are struggling in the preseason losing all of their five preseason games. With less than a week before the start of the 2021-22 NBA season, the team are still having chemistry issues.
The Lakers played the Golden State Warriors last night inserting their ‘BIG THREE’ in the starting lineup, still the team didn’t get the win against a team without three of their star players.
After their 111-99 loss to Warriors in Staples Center, Lakers’ starting point guard Russell Westbrook was asked about the Lakers’ recent struggles and his thoughts about him, Anthony Davis and LeBron James playing together for the first time.
“I don’t have an answer for that one honestly. I know that’s the question everybody keep asking,” Westbrook answered.
“Nobody has a real answer for that. We’re just going to play, just like every other team and then we’re going to figure it out. We don’t need to figure it out October 18th, 19th.. whenever the first game is. We have one goal in mind and that’s to win a championship. Throughout the season there are going to be ups, there are going to be downs there is going to be adversity. As long as we are together and on the same page, that’s all that matters.” he added.
Westbrook struggled on three games he played with the Lakers in the preseason, shooting a combined 7/28 from the field and having a total of 20 turnovers.
