The NBA will implement some changes in the upcoming 2021-22 NBA season. The new rules will limit fouls called on “non-basketball moves,” such as offensive players launching themselves into defenders and shooters kicking out their legs at abnormal angles.”
Stephen Curry was the first one to experience the new rule.
In the first quarter of their game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Curry launches himself to Blazers’ Nassir Little. No foul call was made and Curry end up bricking the shot.
