Protesters were seen trying to enter the Barclasy Center before the Hornets-Nets game in a footage uploaded by Scooter Caster on Twitter
“Protesters just broke through barricades to Barclay’s Center, barricades thrown and security rushed to close the doors and people chanted I’m with Kyrie” Scooter Caster tweeted
Nets announced earlier in the month that Irving won’t play or practice with the team until he complies with New York’s COVID-19 vaccination rules.
Irving couldn’t play on home games because he refuses to take the vaccine shots that the City of New York is requiring for indoor athletes. The Nets decided to not play Irving on road games too.
Irving isn’t an anti-vaccine but reports said that he’s refusing to take the shots as a protest for the removed employees who decided not to take the vaccine shots too.
