Enes Kanter has been very vocal about his campaign and fight against freedom and social injustices.
Kanter is famous for calling out the own president of his mother country, the Turkey. He is accusing Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan as the ‘Hitler of the Turkey’.
Last month, Kanter asked the owner of Nike, Phil Knight and NBA superstars Lebron James and Michael Jordan to join him on calling out the Chinese government.
This time, the Boston Celtics’ center called out James on his social media account.
Money over Morals for the “King”
Sad & disgusting how these athletes pretend they care about social justice They really do “shut up & dribble” when Big Boss says so
Did you educate yourself about the slave labor that made your shoes or is that not part of your research?
James is one of the biggest endorse of Nike where he signed a lifetime deal back in 2016 that brings in $30 million annually on its own.
Kanter is pointing out the labor slavery that’s happening in China and James’ silence over the issue despite the latter’s activeness against social injustices in America.
China is the leading manufacturer of Nike shoes along with Vietnam each accounting 36% of the total manufactured world wide.
James has yet to respond on Kanter’s Twitter post.
