Los Angeles Lakers Loses Another Key Player Due To Injury

The Los Angeles Lakers have suffered another blow as the team will miss another key piece off the bench. Rookie Austin Reaves will miss at least two weeks according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

“Another absence for the Lakers: Rookie Austin Reaves has a strained left hamstring and will miss at least two weeks.”

Reaves is averaging six points, two rebounds and one assist on 47% field goal shooting. The 6’5 guards earned his minutes early in the season because of his hustle and energy.

Reaves went undrafted on 2021 NBA draft but was picked up and signed a two-year, $2,488,776 contract by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lakers were dealing with a lot of injuries in the team with Talen Horton-Tucker, Kendrick Nun, Trevor Ariza and LeBron James remain on the sideline.
