The Los Angeles Lakers are signing two-time NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas to a 10-day contract through hardship exception according to Shams Charania of ‘The Athletic and Stadium’.
Thomas just dropped 42 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 threes in his G-League debut with the Grand Rapids Gold last night.
The 5’8 guard last played with the New Orleans Pelicans last season where he averaged 7.7 points in the three games he played.
This will be Thomas’ second stint with the purple and gold after playing for the franchise in 2017-18 NBA season. This will also be the second time he will play with NBA superstar LeBron James.
