The Los Angeles Lakers will add two players to their roster.
According to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Lakers are planning to sign Darren Collison and Stanley Johnson to a 10-day contracts under the hardship deals.
Johnson, the eight overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft selected by the Detroit Pistons, played with the Toronto Raptors last season. Johnson appeared on 61 games last season averaging 4.4 points, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals.
Collison, meanwhile, had a brief retirement in 2019 after two decent seasons with the Indiana Pacers. He averaged 11.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.4 steals on 47/41/83 shooting splits.
The Lakers are expecting the two to play tomorrow on Christmas Day as they host the no. one team in the Eastern Conference, the Brooklyn Nets.
