Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Rips LeBron James for ‘Big Balls’ Celebration

Kareem Abdul Jabbar ripped Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar LeBron James in a latest video uploaded on Substack this week.

In the video, the Lakers legend was heard calling out James for the “stupid, childish dance” he did in Lakers win over the Pacers in Indiana last week.

James made a couple of clutch deep threes to win the game for the Pacers and did the ‘Sam Cassell’ and ‘The Silencer’ celebrations after hitting each of the shots.

James was fined $10,000 by the league for the ‘Sam Cassell’ celebration.

“For me, winning is enough,” Abdul-Jabbar said in a video.

“Why do you need to do a stupid, childish dance and disrespect the other team on the court? It doesn’t make sense. GOATs don’t dance.” the NBA All-Time scoring leader added.

Back in October, the Lakers’ legend slammed James for telling reporters his stance regarding the COVID-19 vaccination.

James said that for him,  getting the shots is everyone’s personal choice. Abdul Jabbar on the other hand didn’t agree with it.

“I’m a huge fan of LeBron James, both as one of the greatest basketball players ever and as a humanitarian who cares about social injustice. I have written his praises many times in the past and undoubtedly will in the future. I admire him and have affection for him. But this time LeBron is just plain wrong—and his being wrong could be deadly, especially to the Black community.”

James is 2,713 points away from tying Abdul-Jabbar’s record for the no. 1 spot in all-time scoring leaders as of this writing.
