The Denver Nuggets are sending forward Bol Bol to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Rodney McGruder and a future second-round pick, according to Adrian Wojnaroski of ESPN.
Bol is a highly touted young player but the Nuggets are deep on the big man position with Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, Jeff Green, Jamychal Green and Zeke Nnaji. The Nuggets also acquired DeMarcus Cousins by signing him for a 10-day contract.
Bol will get more opportunity with the rebuilding Pistons. The 7’2 big man showed flashed of playing the point forward and scoring off the dribble thru his first three years with the Nuggets.
