The New York Knicks have acquired Cam Reddish from Atlanta Hawks, according to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

In a surprising move, the Hawks dealt Reddish who’s having an amazing performance this season averaging career-high 11.9 points on 38% shooting from the three-point territory.
The Hawks have already a lot of wings on their roster with Deandre Hunter, Kevin Huerter, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Danilo Gallinari and Reddish wishing for an increase role and a contract extension made the Hawks trade the 22-year-old forward.
Reddish and RJ Barrett will be reunited in New York. The two have played together along Zion Williamson in Duke University back in 2019.
Knox, who’s the 9th overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft will get a fresh start with the Hawks. Knox is only averaging a career-low 3.6 points and 1.7 rebounds with the Knicks after having a good year on his rookie season where he averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
The Hawks and the Knicks are currently both out of playoff picture in the Eastern Conference with the Knicks having a better record of 21-21 while the Hawks are currently 12th with a 17-23 record.
