The Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs are working on a three-team, four-player trade that will send Juancho Hernangomez to Spurs, Bryn Forbes to Nuggets, PJ Dozier and Bol Bol to Celtics, according to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
Bol was dealt by the Nuggets to Detroit Pistons last week but the deal was voided after Bol failed his physical. Bol will be out 8-12 weeks after having a foot surgery. Dozier, meanwhile, is out for the season after suffering a torn left ACL.
Hernangomez just logged 5.3 minutes per game on 18 games he played this season. The 15th overall pick of 2016 NBA Draft is struggling to find minutes under Ime Udoka’s rotation.
Forbes, on the other hand, will be a big help for the Nuggets playoff run this season. Forbes help the Bucks during their championship run last year averaging 10 points on 45% shooting from the three-point territory. This season, Forbes is averaging 9.1 points on a very efficient 42% shooting from behind the arc.
