ESPN Insider Adrian Wojnarowski dropped his first bomb for the NBA trade deadline today.
Woj announced that the LA Clippers are acquiring Norman Powell and Robert Covington from the Portland Trail Blazers for Eric Bledsoe, Justise Winslow, Keon Johnson and a future second-round pick owned by the Detroit Pistons.

The Clippers basically acquired two starters for three bench players and a second-round pick.
Powell, 28, is averaging 18.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1 steal per game. He is shooting 46% from the field and an impressive 41% from behind the arc.
Covington, on the other hand, wasn’t performing well this season, averaging only 7.6 points which is second lowest on his nine-year NBA career. He is shooting a poor 38% from the field and 34% from the three-point territory but Covington’s defense will be a huge boost for the Clippers’ front court as he is averaging 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.
Bledsoe, meanwhile, is averaging 9.9 points, 3.4 rebounds. 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals in 25 minutes off the bench. Winslow and Johnson rarely played for the Clippers.
Keon Johnson is the 21st pick of the 2021 NBA draft.
