The Brooklyn Nets were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs after being swept by the Boston Celtics. Kevin Durant has a lot of time checking tweets about him and the NBA.
Meanwhile, Durant’s former team, the Golden State Warriors, are back again in the NBA Finals after missing the playoffs for two consecutive years.
Durant’s name was dragged immediately after the Warriors clinched a spot in the NBA Finals. The 2014 NBA MVP reacted to a tweet comparing his impact on the Warriors to Andrew Wiggins
“The Warriors replaced Kevin Durant with Andrew Wiggins and still made the finals pretty easily.” tweeted by Anthony with a username of OMGItsBirdman
Durant quickly responded on it.. “I would say that these people have been hurting for way too long, it’s time for #healing..”
Durant has been with the Nets since 2019, sitting out his first season with them as he recovers from his ACL injury. Durant and the Nets are having a hard time finding success in the playoffs, struggling to get past the second round of the playoffs.
