Scottie Pippen had a great NBA career which saw him won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls.
During his 17-year NBA career, Pippen was selected three times on All NBA First Team. twice on All-NBA Second Team and twice on All-NBA Third Team.
Pippen was also selected on multiple all defensive teams with an incredible eight selections on NBA All-Defensive First Team and twice on Second Team. He was also the steals leader on 1995. But even with multiple selections on all defensive teams, Pippen never won the ‘Defensive Player of The Year’ award/
During his appearance on the ‘Trash Talk Production Podcast’, Pippen was asked why he thought he never won that award.
His response was shocking. “I think they were too busy watching Michael” Pippen said.

Pippen appeared to took another shot at his former teammate, Michael Jordan. The two doesn’t seem to be in good terms since “The Last Dance” documentary was released.
Ever since the documentary was aired on Netflix, Pippen has taken multiple shots at his former teammate.
