The game between the Denver Nuggets and the Miami Heat went into chaos late in the fourth quarter after Nikola Jokic shoved Markieff Morris down to the floor.
With 2:30 remaining on the floor and Nuggets leading by 17 points, Markieff Morris fouled Jokic hard to stop a possible fastbreak play.
Jokic was ejected in the game but the Nuggets still pulled the win in Denver, 113-96!
Marcus Morris, who is Markieff’s twin brother, clearly didn’t appreciate the cheap shot. The Clippers forward sent out a short tweet early Tuesday morning after watching the altercation.
“Waited till bro turned his back smh. NOTED”
Jokic’s older brothers, Nemanja and Strahinja created a Twitter account just to reply and send a warning to Marcus Morris.
@MookMorris2 “You should leave this the way it is instead of publicly threatening our brother!Your brother made a dirty play first . If you want to make a step further be sure we will be waiting for you !! Jokic Brothers”
Marcus Morris said on Instagram that he was hoping the Jokic brothers will be involved.
The Jokic brother were known to be supportive of their brother Nikola. Last playoffs, they could be seen wanting to join the on court fight during the game 4 of Western Conference Semifinals between the Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns team didn’t like Jokic hard foul on Cameron Payne prompting an exchange of words between Devin Booker and the 2021 NBA MVP.
The Heat and Nuggets will next face off on Nov. 29 in Miami. Let’s see if the Jokic brothers and Marcus will be in attendance.
