LeBron James will enter his 19th year this upcoming 2021-22 NBA season. James is the most successful player among the active ones in the NBA today. The 36-year-old forward is a four-time NBA MVP, four-time NBA champion and four-time Finals MVP.
Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson recently tweeted about what is the main goal of LeBron James this season.
“LeBron James is in excellent physical condition, he is focused, and he is driven. His only goal this season is to win his 5th NBA Championship and the @Lakers 18th Championship. Everybody in the NBA should be worried because LeBron is on a mission!!”

Lakers’ General Manager Rob Pelinka said LeBron has changed his body after slimming down his weight this summer. James will play more minutes in the power forward position this upcoming season.

At this point of his career, LeBron isn’t looking to add an individual award. He is just looking to add another championship on his resume. LeBron will gun for his fifth NBA title while new recruits Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony are looking for their first NBA championship.
The Lakers are currently tied with the Boston Celtics for the most number of championships in NBA history. They’ll look to break the tie this season and give the ‘purple and gold’ their 18th NBA championship.
